Kersh Hsieh

Jr. HR Consultant/Generalist

My name is Kersh. I’m originally from Taiwan, and later moved to Michigan with my parents. I speak Mandarin (Chinese), Taiwanese, Cantonese, Shanghainese, and English.

I began my HR career in 2015 in Chicago, gaining diverse experience across industries such as Hospitality, Food and Beverage, Logistics, Distribution, and Medical Devices.  As an HR Generalist, I managed various HR functions, including full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, investigations, employee engagement, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, HR system implementation, and organizational development.

I also served as an HR Manager for a distributor specializing in Asian food products, where I successfully built the company’s first HR department. My team and I aligned HR strategies with the business’s long-term goals, driving sustainable growth.

Outside of being an HR professional, I enjoy bowling, reading, and taking short trips whenever possible.
